World Cup 2010 Soundtrack Competition - Indiecater Records

World Cup 2010 Soundtrack Competition - Indiecater RecordsIndiecater Records, one of my favorite indie labels right now, just announced their World Cup 2010 Soundtrack competition. Well I guess it is not a competition unless you make it one but either way it looks to provide some interesting inspiration for songwriters/soccer (er... football) fans. Now those who reside in the geographical area commonly referred to as the United States are not known for their fervent fanaticism for the most popular sport in the world but there has to be at least one gooooooooal loving, gum chewing, backwards cap wearing musician out their, right? Didn't the US team beat f'ing Spain like a few weeks ago?

I hope the Sealand team qualifies. I will totally write a song for them.

Right now there are only a few teams that have officially qualified for the tournament but that will be increasing soon. Check in regularly for updates. If you would like to submit a song click here.
